Here’s another fresh-pressed juice that I particularly enjoy in the morning before my run. Yes, I know there is controversy about juicing and that we need to watch our sugar, but I argue that in moderation, juices can be a nourishing addition to your wellness routine.
As with most juice recipes, follow your own preferences regarding ratios of fruit. This batch included the following:
3 medium organic Granny Smith apples, quartered
2 small organic red beets, trimmed and halved
1 cup fresh organic golden pineapple pieces
1 cup organic blackberries
1 two-inch piece ginger, roughly chopped
Juice of 1 lemon
Makes about 4 cups
